Pretty much the best food we've had in Turkey. Great vegetarian options too and wonderful service. Very good with kids. We'll probably be back every evening for the rest of our stay. We came here based on another traveller's recommendation and were very glad that we did. The dishes that stood out were the aubergine stuffed with tomatoes, the chicken sis and the borek. Delicious!

We had an absolute feast at this restaurant after a long visit to nearby Ephesus. The owner brought us out a vegetarian meze platter that was prepared by his wife (the cook). Everything on it was delicious... I was basically stuffed by the time my main, the mixed grill, came out. But the grill was so good that I managed to put all of that down as well! Prices were extremely reasonable. Our whole meal for two people (which was enough food for four normal people) was only around 60 TL, including drinks. Highly recommended!

I went to this restaurant with two friends twice during our short stay in Selcuk. The food is home-made and very tasty (we had a variety of appetizers and main courses, meat and vegetarian). Very good service and nice staff, especially Hakan, the owner's son. We enjoyed the interesting chat about Turkish culture and customs. He even helped us out with a problem we had with our credit card. Definitely worth visiting for the tasty food and the great hospitality. We will certainly come back!

We went 2 times at this restaurant during our stay at Selcuk. Very good local food with friendly personnel taking their time to explain the various dishes. On the second time they made some gifts and offered us a birthday cake for our daughter. Excellent quality price ratio

This restaurant is fantastic! Family owned and extremely welcoming amongst the touristy restaurants. If you are a vegetarian then this place is perfect for your needs! I had the grilled aubergine with rice and yoghurt which was a large fulling helping and absolutely delicious! Affordable too! Just do it :)

Our hotel connected us with Ejder Restaurant. The table was set and waiting for us when we arrived. The service was wonderful. The owner personally helped us in choosing food as this was our first Turkish meal. He continued to serve and interact with us throughout the meal. This is a family owned restaurant with big-time food, at very affordable prices. We had a wonderful evening under the aqueduct. I would highly recommend.

Ejder was recommended to us by our tour guide and we ended up going twice during our visit. Our food was delicious- lamb chops, kabaps, stuffed eggplant- and the courtyard setting was really pleasant but what really set this restaurant apart for us was the friendly staff. Our waiter treated us, and everyone around us, like locals and was even kind enough to prepare a special herb tea for our son who was a bit under the weather (with some extra packaged to go). It's these acts of kindness that stick with you- we left loving Ejder.

There are a million little restaurants to choose from in Selcuk, Turkey but Ejder turned out to be the best find. The owner is so sweet...refers to his customers as "guests" and the food is wonderful! Very flavorful. Definitely check it out if you happen to be in the area.
